Omnequa is an independent public-benefit research initiative exploring how AI and open financial tools can expand economic opportunity.
Why we are here
A useful idea does not always become a viable business. Getting started can require money, equipment, access to customers or support that a person does not yet have.
Our vision is to alleviate human poverty by enabling more people to own productive, digitally enabled businesses. AI could help operate those businesses, while people retain meaningful control and share in the income. Sustainable human income—not automated activity—is the purpose.
Who does the work
A human directs the purpose. A team of AI systems researches, builds, challenges assumptions and explains what it finds. The work begins in digital settings, where small experiments can move quickly and their economics can be examined in detail.
